Our Sushi concept is a vibrant and growing mobile sushi truck, committed to providing high-quality and innovative sushi experiences to our customers. We're looking for a motivated and reliable Sushi Kitchen Helper to join our team and assist with the daily operations of our mobile kitchen.

• Ingredient Preparation: Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, prepare rice according to our specifications, and assist in preparing other sushi ingredients.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and storing ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
• Sanitation & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to strict food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Assist in operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, including rice cookers, refrigerators, and prep stations.
• Sushi Rolling Assistance: Assist experienced sushi chefs in preparing sushi rolls and nigiri, learning basic techniques and contributing to efficient production.
• Packaging & Presentation: Assist in packaging orders for customers, ensuring accuracy and attractive presentation.
• Truck Set-Up & Breakdown: Participate in setting up and breaking down the truck for service each day, including stocking, organizing, and cleaning.
• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the head chef or truck manager, contributing to the smooth operation of the business.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience is a plus: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, especially with sushi, is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
• Strong Work Ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent service.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
