Job summary

Merlyn in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen systems, including chillers, freezers, fryers, ovens and ranges. You will diagnose faults, perform plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, and carry out preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.

The role requires immediate availability, willingness to work rotating shifts, and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial kitchen maintenance.
• Knowledge of repairing kitchen appliances and systems.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

• Currently available in UAE and valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain kitchen equipment (chillers, freezers, fryers, ovens, ranges, etc.).
• Perform plumbing tasks, including installation and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems in kitchen equipment.
• Conduct minor carpentry work.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
• Respond to emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime.
