Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, seeks a detail-oriented Kitchen and Laundry Technician to maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and hygiene compliance.

You will operate and service dishwashers, laundry machines, dryers, and cooking appliances, while collaborating with kitchen and housekeeping teams to maintain efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience operating kitchen equipment and laundry machinery.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment (dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, cooking appliances).
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Assist in storage and organization of utensils, linens and supplies.
• Inspect equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff for efficient workflow.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and inventory.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid at Ras Al-khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards.

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating various kitchen and laundry equipment
