Lead the development of new KFC menu items from inception through successful consumer concept and taste testing phases, then continue to provide support through ops testing and launch phases.

Brand Growth and Profitability
Lead the generation of new product ideas based on project briefs.
Build a network of sources of new product ideas: suppliers, chefs, customers, industry trends, and social media.
Work with suppliers to obtain high quality ingredients that meet brands standards at acceptable cost.
Develop the menu strategy in consultation with the Marketing/General Manager.
Control costs within budgetary guidelines.
Review feedback from markets on product acceptance and customer expectations.
Review food preparation methods and adjust as needed to increase product quality, consistency and efficiency
Market and Competition Research
Acquire market intelligence through a variety of sources and analyze trends that may impact business.
Research the latest trends in food products worldwide.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in food industry and 5 years working for large restaurant chains
Experience developing chicken products.
Able to manage in a diverse environment with focus on customer feedback.
Must be able to communicate clearly with GMs, Marketing team, and top management.
