Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and positive Key Stage 1 teacher to join our wonderful school community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor s degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (PGCE) OR hold a Bachelor of Education degree.
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have an understanding of up to date and relevant practices within Key Stage 1.
• Trained and have experience delivering a British curriculum.
• Be able to effectively deliver phonics and guided reading support.
• Strong ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
• Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents.
• Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
• Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff.
• Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities.

Desirable (But not essential):

• Experience of Talk for Writing, White Rose Maths, Phonics delivery and STEM based activities.
