Job Description

My client is looking for a driven and strategic Key Account Manager to lead the development of On Trade accounts in Dubai. The role focuses on growing market share, maximizing profitability, and ensuring excellent customer service across key clients in the beverage / alcohol sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, client management, and trade execution, with the ability to build lasting relationships and execute trade marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies and brand objectives while providing critical market insights.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve targeted sales, profitability, market share, and service levels as outlined in business plans
  • Develop and implement Customer Development Plans for each account
  • Build strong partnerships with customers and key influencers through regular visits and engagement
  • Sell and negotiate trading terms and ensure product availability and visibility across accounts
  • Drive distribution of core brands and actively support product launches
  • Organize wine tastings, conduct product training, and promote consumer activation initiatives
  • Analyse sales trends, category performance, and account data to build commercial strategies
  • Work with marketing teams to implement brand-building initiatives and trade promotions
  • Maintain accurate records for each customer, including contact history, agreements, and sales performance
  • Manage payment collections and resolve any outstanding debt issues in accordance with company policy
  • Represent the company at on-trade and sponsored events, and ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5–6 years of sales experience, ideally in FMCG or the alcoholic beverages industry
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and act on data
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
