Job description

Key Accountabilities:

  1. To strictly adhere to the company's code of conduct in all business dealings.
  2. To achieve volume and value targets through sales, at specified prices, to the outlets in the salesman's territory.
  3. To ensure distribution and implementation of all promotional activities, at the outlet level, as per the company's plan.
  4. To ensure product availability and visibility in the listed outlets covered as per the company's distribution listing and merchandising objectives.
  5. To ensure regular and effective use of POS material/backup stock.
  6. To ensure market coverage as per the agreed route plan.
  7. To explore, identify and develop new customers in the territory.
  8. To update and keep the finance (collection team) updated on the outstanding from trade on time so as to maintain debtors to sales ratio as per company policy.
  9. To monitor and analyze the market and report on competitive activities.
  10. To be responsible and accountable for the company's assets placed in the outlets by having contracts/agreements duly signed by the customer.
  11. To ensure stock delivery on time to the concerned outlets.
  12. Maintain standard and quality of display.
  13. Follow up on stock re-filling and fresh stocks on the shelves, using FIFO.
  14. To ensure that stocks in the store have an adequate shelf life and rotation of stock.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, and other related fields.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the FMCG Industry.
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.
