Job description

The Key Account Director will play a crucial role in managing the relationship between the client and DragonPass. They should seamlessly integrate into a long-term partnership based on collaboration and market-leading innovation. The ideal candidate will quickly establish rapport with key stakeholders both internally and externally, adapting their communication style to different personalities. They should be motivated to understand various business functions and take pride in being recognized as an expert with a passion for supporting their client’s objectives alongside their own company’s interests.

This role requires proven experience in leading a global account exceeding $100m annually, with consistent year-over-year growth across multiple products and regions. The candidate should have a strong commercial mindset, capable of leading complex negotiations, proposing new commercial models, and managing contracting processes with legal support. A proactive yet patient approach, coupled with a passion for developing high-performing teams, is essential. They should be strategic thinkers, confident in presenting and inspiring others with their vision, while also receptive to feedback.

The Key Account Director must be adept at forecasting account performance, recognizing trends, and identifying opportunities and risks to inform strategic decisions. They should be able to leverage their influential position positively, serving as an external ambassador for the business and mentoring internal colleagues. Responsibilities include...

  • Managing and developing a team of Account Managers globally, fostering a growth mindset
  • Building strong relationships with client and company contacts across departments worldwide
  • Coordinating internal teams to grow the account, resolve queries, and manage escalations professionally
  • Leading strategic direction and sharing vision with internal stakeholders
  • Attending and leading client meetings, including weekly updates and QBRs
  • Gathering data to support communication, sales, and growth strategies, as well as problem-solving and dispute resolution
  • Preparing various documentation for presentations, performance analysis, and market insights
  • Supporting creative development through client feedback and internal reviews
  • Communicating progress of initiatives to stakeholders
  • Forecasting and tracking account metrics to maximize revenue
  • Monitoring project timelines and budgets, and communicating potential changes
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions, and next steps
  • Planning and managing strategic goals for the company and clients
