This is a remote position. We are looking for professional remote interpreters fluent in Karen and English who want to join an international company and support clear communication across cultures. As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) / Video Remote Interpreter (VRI), you will provide accurate and professional interpretation between Karen and English speakers across different industries, with a primary focus on healthcare and community services. You will ensure accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in every conversation.

Requirements

• Your background and experience
• Fluent in English and native in Karen.
• Minimum of 1 year of OPI or VRI experience with a recognized interpretation provider (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not mandatory).
• Awareness of legal terminology is a plus.
• International certifications in the healthcare industry (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are an advantage.
• High school diploma in your native language.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work across cultures.
