Job summary

Kalam is seeking an experienced Arabic–English interpreter for a remote role. You will provide high‑quality interpretation across medical and legal contexts, requiring native Arabic and fluent English, plus strong memory, note‑taking and cross‑cultural skills.

The position is full‑time with a clear schedule and onboarding. A minimum of 1 year of OPI/VRI experience is preferred; healthcare terminology knowledge is advantageous, and a dedicated high‑speed internet connection is required.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in Arabic and fluent in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of OPI or VRI experience with a recognized interpretation provider.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
• Awareness of legal terminology (a plus).
• International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are advantageous.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work across cultures.
