Job summary

Kalam is seeking an experienced Arabic–English interpreter for a remote role. You will provide high‑quality interpretation across medical and legal contexts, requiring native Arabic and fluent English, plus strong memory, note‑taking and cross‑cultural skills.

The position is full‑time with a clear schedule and onboarding. A minimum of 1 year of OPI/VRI experience is preferred; healthcare terminology knowledge is advantageous, and a dedicated high‑speed internet connection is required.

This is a remote position.

Your background and experience Native fluency in Arabic and fluent in English.

Minimum of 1 year of OPI or VRI experience with a recognized interpretation provider (preferred but not mandatory).

Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not mandatory).

Awareness of legal terminology is a plus.

International certifications in the healthcare industry (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.) are an advantage.

High school diploma in your native language.

High emotional intelligence and ability to work across cultures.

Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
