Responsibilities
Provide maintenance and support services for security infrastructure.
Network infrastructure includes Juniper Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, VPN, Cisco ASA and ISE, and related monitoring and management tools.
Coordinate with IT Service Desk, Infrastructure and Information Security Office teams regarding network and security infrastructure operations and support.
Log cases and follow up with Juniper.
Arrange for hardware replacement, coordinate dispatch of failed components, and collect & replace new parts.
Monitor system performance and logs, assess network vulnerabilities and intrusions.
Apply patches, feature releases, and upgrades.
Perform Move, Add, Change, Delete (MACD) in configuration and equipment as per requests and change control procedures.
Document network and security issues and resolutions.
Qualifications
Experience supporting network security in a mission‑critical enterprise infrastructure environment.
Extensive experience with Juniper and Cisco mainstream technologies, including Juniper IDP, SRX, Cisco ASA, IDP, End Point Security (ISE), and related management tools.
Expert knowledge of network security at multiple levels (network, virtualization, operating system, file/directory, user account).
Ability to analyze results and logs from network and security devices, system event reports and provide assessment reports; working experience with network scanning tools (OpenVAS, Metasploit).
Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Linux OS, and related system administration tools.
Familiarity with implementation of security best practices and defense‑in‑depth strategy.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with: network protocols (TCP/IP, NetBIOS, etc.); routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, NLSP, etc.); data communication equipment (switches, routers, etc.); specific technologies such as wireless, network access control, load balancing, SSL acceleration, encryption tools and certificates; network management tools (SolarWinds Orion, WhatMUPS Gold, Fluke Network Analyzer); firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX); intrusion prevention systems; vulnerability assessment tools (Nmap, Retina, etc.).
At least 4 years of relevant technical experience.
B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
