Junior Work Preparator - Piping

Key Accountabilities:

1. Assisting Preparator in day-to-day activities such as drawings preparation and MTOs.
2. Job identification, drawings preparation, and updating the department database for records against a defined workspec and tender.
3. Providing daily updates to preparatory and supervisor in line with updates in ERP (Mariner or equivalent) for spools, supports, and joint details.
4. Material requisition and follow-up. Verification of material quantities against a defined MTO in terms of size/grade and quantities.
5. Man hour estimate as per agreed tariff and submit for project supervision review.
6. Final job descriptions to Invoicer for man hours update.
7. Documentation of sailed projects as per documentation procedure in the department.
   

Experience / Qualification & Skills:

1. Good working knowledge of ASME rules, AutoCAD, and material grades.
2. Good working knowledge of MS Office and ERP software.
3. Diploma in mechanical engineering or any degree in mechanical engineering.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Smart Plant Isometrics.
5. 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar industry or 5 years of shipyard experience.
