Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural components on various projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative engineering solutions efficiently.
- Perform calculations and simulations to test the integrity of structures under different conditions.
- Support the preparation of detailed technical drawings and documentation for projects.
- Conduct site inspections and support in the assessment of structures for safety compliance.
- Assist in ensuring that projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provide input during team meetings and contribute to project planning sessions actively.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other project aspects.
- Assist in researching and selecting appropriate materials and construction technologies for projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings to stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends and new engineering technologies.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and gain knowledge in structural engineering software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000 and ETABS.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and their respective properties.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for analyzing structural models.
- Willingness to engage in continued professional development and learning activities.
