Job summary

Anantara Downtown Dubai is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Kitchen professional to lead daily kitchen operations within our luxury hotel. You will collaborate with the restaurant chef to develop concepts, align with local suppliers and seasonal menus, and maintain high standards of food presentation.

Responsibilities include safeguarding food safety, maintaining outlet safety and assets, and supporting cross-departmental training to enhance guest service.

Qualifications

• Organize activities within a Restaurant Kitchen with a safe, smooth, profitable operation.
• Develop restaurant concepts and standards; work with local market and suppliers; adapt menus seasonally.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices in all working areas.
• Ensure outlet safety and manage outlet assets and facilities.
• Participate in department training to提升 service levels and ensure cross‑department cooperation.

• Support the development of Restaurant cuisine concepts and standards. Be familiar with local market & suppliers. Recommend menu changes according to seasonal product availability.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests.
• Maintain food safety & protection. All food in working areas should be in compliance with food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, rotation, etc.
• Maintain outlet safety at all times.
• Take responsibility for asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels, providing team members the training and resources to take care of our guests.
• Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.
