Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in managing kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Mediterranean cooking, with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  2. Ensure the consistent execution of all dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
  3. Supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff to maintain a productive, positive environment.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
  5. Contribute to menu development with creative input on Mediterranean recipes and specials.
  6. Monitor food storage and ensure all food items are stored correctly and safely.
  7. Step in for the Head Chef during absences and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role, preferably in Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Culinary diploma or certification.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
