Job summary

Southern Sun in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Junior Sous Chef role. You will provide support to Kitchen Management and ensure smooth kitchen operations, contributing to high quality food and service.

You will handle food ordering, delivery, storage and control, manage kitchen staff, uphold HACCP standards, and foster a collaborative, positive working environment across departments.

Qualifications

• Must know costing and Recipe making
• Must be HACCP Certified
• Must be a certified team trainer and know team handling

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Kitchen Management and ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
• Manage the food ordering, delivery, storage and control professionally and carefully.
• Manage kitchen staff, ensuring they are kept up to date with relevant information and standards.
• Actively participate in a working environment across departments with trained and supportive staff.
• Fulfil administration duties and implement HACCP standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service levels through positive connections and prompt handling of any problems.
