Job Description - Junior Sous Chef | Hilton Dubai Palm (HOT0BKSJ)

At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, a Junior Sous Chef works closely with the Head Chef to manage all aspects of the kitchen, delivering an excellent Guest and Member experience. Responsibilities include managing food provisions, assisting with guest queries, and controlling costs.

What will I be doing?
  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including operational, quality, and administrative functions.
  • Oversee food provision to Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Assist in resolving guest queries promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure food quality and proper storage.
  • Contribute to menu creation by incorporating guest feedback.
  • Maintain high-quality food production across all hotel outlets.
  • Manage customer relations in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Manage resources effectively through working rotations.
  • Support brand standards via team training and assessment.
  • Lead the kitchen team to ensure organization and motivation.
  • Control costs while maintaining standards to improve margins and meet financial targets.
  • Assist other departments as needed and foster good relationships.
  • Comply with security, fire, health, and food safety regulations.
  • Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues.
  • Promote environmental awareness.
