Job description

Role Overview

AMUR Solar Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineer who meets the eligibility requirements for certification by DEWA as a Junior Solar PV Expert and will support the company's Dubai Solar PV operations and DEWA Electrical & DRRG Solar PV Contractor enrolment.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must:

• Be at least 24 years old.
• Hold a technical university degree in:
• Electrical Engineering, or
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised university/institution.
• Have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical installation and construction-related works.
• Be able to provide documentary evidence of academic qualifications and professional experience.
• Be eligible to attend the DEWA Solar PV Expert Certification Training and examination.

Previous Solar PV experience is advantageous but is not mandatory for Junior certification. Candidates with no or insufficient Solar PV project experience may obtain Junior Solar PV Expert status after successfully completing the DEWA training and examination, subject to DEWA approval.

Documentation

Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to provide:

• Updated CV with exact employment dates and responsibilities.
• University degree and supporting academic documents.
• Employment/experience certificates demonstrating at least 4 years of relevant electrical installation/construction experience.
• Details of Solar PV projects, if applicable.
• Passport and UAE visa/Emirates ID, where applicable.
• Existing DEWA Solar PV Expert Certificate, if already certified.

The successful candidate will be employed and sponsored by AMUR SOLAR ENERGY L.L.C S.O.C in accordance with the requirements applicable to the company's DEWA contractor enrolment.
