Junior Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Procurement Specialist to join our Shared Services Centre (SSC) team. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of procurement experience, including direct exposure to centralized procurement models, vendor management, and compliance frameworks. The role requires working across business units to ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely sourcing, and contractual integrity in all procurement activities.

Key Responsibility

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes within a centralized shared services environment.
• Support strategic sourcing, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiation across business units.
• Ensure procurement practices are in line with internal policies, legal frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Raise purchase requisitions, evaluate quotations, and manage RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations teams to streamline purchasing and approvals.
• Track vendor performance and maintain an approved supplier database.
• Ensure documentation, cost control, and spend visibility for all procurement-related activities.
• Work closely with category managers and SSC leads to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Generate procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business insights and audits.
  

Key Requirements:

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within a Shared Services Centre (SSC) or group-level procurement team.
• Experience in handling multi-category procurement (e.g., facilities, IT, services, logistics).
• Familiar with procurement systems (Oracle, SAP, Coupa, or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management, contracting, and purchasing compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver under deadlines in a high-volume environment.
