Job Details

Job Title: Junior Occupational Hygienist / Industrial Hygienist

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Experience Required: 1–2 years

Qualifications

• Master’s in Industrial Hygiene
• OR Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical preferred) / B.Sc. in Fire Safety / Diploma in Industrial Safety / PDIS

Certifications

• BOHS / OHTA modules preferred for all, mandatory if not holding a Master’s in Industrial Hygiene
• Familiarity with IH monitoring equipment (noise dosimeters, sound level meters, pumps, detectors, etc.)
• Knowledge of exposure monitoring, occupational health risk assessments, and control measures
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
• Previous consultancy experience is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (minimum 10 days per month) for exposure monitoring and assessments
• Support senior hygienists in qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
• Perform monitoring for noise, chemicals, dust, and physical agents
• Assist in interpreting results and preparing professional reports
• Participate in client discussions and on-site surveys
