Junior Mechanical Technician

We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician in Abu Dhabi, responsible for delivering planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. You will coordinate and perform various maintenance activities within defined operating procedures, conduct safety inspections, and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations. Additionally, you will provide first-level technical advice to customers and troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you’ll do :

1. Perform mechanical servicing and general equipment maintenance according to operating procedures, including A & B service, green carding/post-contract assessment, pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding/repair, and preventative maintenance.
2. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics.
3. Assist with site installation, commissioning, and decommissioning as per Aggreko standards if required.
4. Respond promptly to technical support requests for field equipment breakdowns, including outside of working hours when necessary.
5. Complete equipment repairs on time, within standards and budget constraints.
6. Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) at all times.
7. Actively commit to and comply with Aggreko's Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, ensuring all required training and objectives are met.
8. Perform other duties related to effective operations and service as needed.

Skills and experience required :

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience.
2. Minimum of 2 years in the mechanical field.
3. Availability to travel as needed.
4. Valid local Driving License.
5. Ability to perform technical and manual work in various weather conditions and terrains.
