Junior Marine Surveyor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Marine Surveyor based in Sharjah.

The Junior Marine Surveyor will report to the Senior Surveyor/Head of Technical and will undergo a period of training before taking on active responsibilities.

Once trained, the Junior Marine Surveyor will assist in conducting vessel inspections, preparing detailed and timely reports, and working closely with senior surveyors, the administrative team, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the marine industry and vessel operations
• Familiarity with naval architecture principles (preferred)
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in the marine industry is a plus
