Junior Logistics Coordinator

The role of the Junior Logistics Coordinator is to ensure smooth coordination of logistics for the MEA region; this includes ownership of the order-to-fulfillment cycle. The goal is to ensure seamless operations across the various channels by effective communication and liaison with distributors, forwarders, factories, and other operations departments.

Essential Functions:

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must excel at these core responsibilities: Order Entry – Order Fulfillment – Freight Management - Invoicing – Customer Service, and be able to proactively coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations for the region by performing the following duties:

• Order entry/ goods receipt in ERP system.
• Preparing, routing, and managing purchase orders to vendors.
• Contacting Shipping companies/ forwarders for improved freight rates.
• Coordinating daily logistics operations.
• Working with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Prepare, review and dispatch shipping documents (invoice, packing list, certificate of origin/ customs documents.)
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary for test and display units.
• Tracking and monitoring the status of shipments.
• Assist in yearly factory stock count.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with min 2 years of experience in Logistics preferably in a manufacturing / freight forwarding company.
• Experience in handling import -export shipments
• Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle
• Proficient in MS Office
