Job description

  • Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs and delays.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular audits and collaborating with warehouse staff to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and transportation partners to negotiate rates and resolve any shipment issues promptly.
  • Utilize logistics software to track shipments and generate reports, providing insights into performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to enhance productivity and streamline operations across multiple channels.
  • Monitor transportation activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices, to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for logistics operations, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to align logistics operations with business objectives.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics and shipping, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in logistics principles.
  • Experience in Polymer trading firm prefered
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management, showcasing practical knowledge.
  • Experience in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for better communication with international partners.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster relationships with vendors and resolve issues efficiently.
