AtkinsRéalis Business is hiring an experienced Junior Information Manager for our Middle East Site Ops delivery team. This role involves functions ranging from internal process improvements to supporting construction project delivery supervision. The successful candidate should be a people, process, and technology-focused individual whose main duty will be to ensure project delivery teams adhere to standards and industry best practices. The candidate will also support project teams on proposals, bids, and project delivery tasks.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in architectural or civil engineering with 5+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, including at least 2 years in the Middle East region.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects (Information Management/BIM).
- Software certifications such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil3D, ArcGIS, Synchro, Fuzor, etc., are desirable.
- Information Management certification from a relevant institution (e.g., BRE, Operam Academy, RICS) is desirable.
- Good knowledge of industry standards such as LOD 300-500.
- Contractor experience is advantageous, with an understanding of digital project delivery from design to handover.
- Experience working with various stakeholders (contractors, consultants, PMCs, vendors, clients).
Key skill requirements:
- Understanding of data and information management, including ISO 19650 compliance.
- Knowledge of engineering design and multidisciplinary coordination and quality compliance.
- Proficiency with authoring tools from vendors like Autodesk, Bentley, Rhino, Trimble.
- Experience with model federation and coordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track, or Revizto.
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ACC, BIM360, ASITE, or ProjectWise.
- Data visualization/analytics skills, e.g., PowerBI.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Dynamo is desirable.
- Familiarity with construction sequencing (4D), quantity take-offs (5D), and extended reality (VR+AR).
- Understanding of construction quality processes.
- Ability to develop technical documentation related to Information Management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination and collaboration.
- Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in developing Information Management documents (e.g., BEP, federation strategy, LOIN, responsibility matrix).
- Understanding of MIDP/TIDP is essential.
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles and spatial coordination.
Job duties:
- Ensure digital content is created, stored, and published using current technologies and best practices.
- Implement and follow internal and external capacity and capability processes.
- Assist in administering the CDE and support project teams in its utilization.
- Perform effective information management tasks throughout the project lifecycle, in line with ISO 19650 and industry standards.
- Support auditing teams in delivering Task Information Delivery Plans.
- Follow directives from the Information Manager.
- Maintain a solid understanding of construction processes.
- Support AtkinsRéalis' global and regional digital initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining ISO 19650 certification.
- Support the Information Manager as per the RACI matrix.
- Understand point-cloud data for as-built models.
- Ensure QA/QC of LOD 400-500 models.
- Oversee development of uses like construction sequencing, 5D quantity take-offs, and extended reality.
- Support COBie, Uniclass, and Masterclass implementation.
- Assist in supervising the strategic planning for asset information modeling and O&M data.
