Job summary

Sobha Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Junior IC to support HSSE activities across projects. You will assist in implementing HSSE policies, conduct inspections, and coordinate training and certification programs to maintain high safety standards.

You will participate in incident investigations, pre-job planning, and contractor safety oversight, while contributing to daily and monthly HSSE meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Entry-level HSSE role
• Junior IC level experience preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety practices preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSSE standards are followed through regular safety inspections
• Coordinate and support project team in implementing HSSE policies and procedures
• Ensure precise submission of HSSE reports and completion of targets
• Coordinate HSSE training and third-party certifications as per standards
• Provide control measures to prevent hazards and risks
• Investigate incidents/accidents/nearme misses and implement preventive actions
• Support line managers to ensure compliance with legislation and continuous improvement
• Conduct daily and monthly HSSE meetings and trainings
• Promote safety culture and organize awareness programs
• Identify new ideas to enhance safety performance and morale
• Ensure pre-job planning for high exposure operations
• Ensure contractors have effective health and safety management systems
