Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety, health, security, and environment initiatives across the business. You will develop and enforce policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement through audits, incident investigations, and training.

You will lead emergency planning, HSSE committees, and sustainability programs, partnering with management to elevate safety performance and culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar work environment.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Fire & Safety, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• OHS Level 6, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH MS.
• Lead Auditor ISO 45001:2018.
• Internal Auditor: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.
• SARS, ADOSH, or FZIO approvals will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
• Ensure all regulatory and legal compliance and meet with the HSSE standards.
• Conducting audits and inspection across the organisation and advise corrective actions to improve the safety environmental standards.
• Lead the incident and accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective action and preventive actions.
• Develop Emergency preparedness and response plan including drills and training.
• Conduct HSSE Committee meeting with management to discuss HSSE concerns and improvements.
• Develop new strategy to improve the HSSE standards.
• Implement environment management plan, waste management programs and sustainability initiatives.

Job description

The role ensures a safe and healthy work environment by identifying risks, establishing control measures, conducting audits and Inspections and promoting a proactive safety culture across all operations. The Assistant Manager provides leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to management and employees to prevent incidents, improve HSE performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
