Job summary

Discovered Recruitment in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered products. You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams on cloud-native solutions across backend and frontend development.

The role offers hands-on experience with Generative and Agentic AI, Python, React, REST APIs, and containerized deployments in a fast-growing innovation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Git version control systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and services.
• Build scalable APIs and backend systems supporting AI solutions.
• Develop frontend interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate machine learning and Generative AI capabilities.
• Develop cloud-native applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Support deployment and management of containerized applications.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to AI experimentation, testing, and product innovation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Support the development of Agentic AI workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
