Role Overview

As a Junior Finance Business Partner reporting to the COO, you will manage accounting services for a designated client portfolio. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping the team meet billing and collection objectives. You will play a key role in client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management & Service Delivery

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Oversee financial setups, budgeting processes, and periodic reporting.
• Participate in client meetings, networking events, and proposal development.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed scope, deadlines, and profitability targets.
• Actively contribute to business development initiatives and relationship building.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow.
• Evaluate financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost implications.
• Monitor team time-tracking and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Review the team’s accounting outputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory standards, liaising with internal departments when required.
• Provide guidance and oversight to team members, ensuring task completion and development.
• Support onboarding processes, timesheet monitoring, and compliance adherence.
• Lead regular team meetings and assess training requirements.
• Conduct formal performance evaluations and support staff development.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• CPA or CMA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 1 year in the Middle East.
• Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficient in multiple accounting systems and UAE financial regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
