Job summary

PeopleGene seeks an Estimation Engineer to review mechanical drawings for water treatment systems, perform material take-offs and prepare cost estimates and BOQs. You will coordinate with engineering and procurement to verify requirements and support proposal preparation.

Proficiency in Excel is essential; AutoCAD skills and drawing interpretation are highly valued. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is required, with strong communication and coordination during deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with good communication and coordination.
• Experience interpreting mechanical drawings used in water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical equipment drawings and layouts for water treatment systems.
• Perform material and quantity take-offs using AutoCAD/PDF documents.
• Prepare cost estimations, BOQs and support proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to verify material requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial estimation documents.
• Update cost databases, supplier quotations and estimation templates.
• Ensure all estimation work is accurate, efficient and timely.
• Remain available during holidays for emergency work as needed.
