Job summary

Cubic Art Technologies L.L.C (CATEC) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support electrical installation and EV charging infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE electrical authority requirements and approvals, and the ability to coordinate with consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and site teams.

You will read and interpret SLDs and drawings, assist with material submittals and inspections, and adapt to day or night shifts as

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and related field.
2–4 years of practical experience in electrical installation and infrastructure works.
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Willing to travel between project sites as required.
Flexible to work day or night shifts depending on project requirements.
Strong site attitude, coordination skills, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently while supporting the senior engineering and project team.
UAE construction/site experience is preferred.
Immediate availability is an advantage

Responsibilities

Assist in site inspections, material inspections, testing & commissioning, authority inspections, and handover activities.
Assist with preparation of material submittals, inspection requests, method statements, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Review and follow authority regulations, approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
