Job description

Reporting to the Site Construction/Commissioning Manager or Lead Engineers, the Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the successful commissioning and supervision of electrical equipment installations on site, specifically for the Hassyan project. His key responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring the smooth commissioning of RO plant electrical systems, transformers, and auxiliary equipment as required for project execution.
  2. Inspecting and supervising the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, including MV/LV panels, auxiliary panels, cable trays, ladders, and cable pulling.
  3. Ensuring proper adherence to Quality Control documentation and procedures during Turnover Operations (TOps).
  4. Participating in or supporting task forces assigned to investigate and resolve electrical issues or incidents on site.
  5. Taking part in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for MV/LV switchgears, UPS, circuit breakers, and auxiliary panels.
  6. Performing or reviewing testing procedures for transformers, MV/LV panels, VSDs, and UPS systems.
  7. Participating in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities related to electrical equipment when necessary.
  8. Carrying out any additional tasks assigned by management to support project execution and site operations.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or holding an engineering degree or equivalent. Good command of English (spoken and written).
