About Your Team

You will report to the Technical Manager and support the Technical Department by preparing accurate shop drawings and assisting with production files for bespoke joinery items. You’ll work closely with senior draughtsmen, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and quality output.

Your Role

As a Junior Draughtsman, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in creating detailed 2D CAD drawings and basic 3D models under supervision
• Supporting the preparation of machine files, cutting lists, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Helping coordinate with production to resolve technical queries
• Maintaining drawing versions and ensuring accuracy
• Learning to optimize materials and support quality checks during production

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in joinery drafting or related technical drawing (1-3 years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD preferred) and a willingness to learn CNC file preparation
• Good understanding of architectural drawings and joinery basics
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop technical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions
