Job summary

Givaudan in Dubai, UAE seeks a Junior Controlling Analyst (Contractual) to join the Finance team and deliver accurate financial analysis, reporting and insights for decision support. The role reports to the Business Controller for the region and includes 5-days-per-week activity in the Dubai office.

The candidate will handle monthly, quarterly and annual reports, budgeting and forecasting, and drive improvements in controls, automation, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, business analytics, or a similar finance role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and related reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
• Knowledge of Tableau, BOA, or similar business intelligence tools is considered a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, or CPA are considered a plus.
• A structured, and highly accountable approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail with a disciplined and data-driven approach

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and variance analyses.
• Monitor costs, margins, and financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Provide accurate financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure high levels of data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Assist in tracking financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Contribute to the preparation of management reports and performance reviews.
• Support the identification of opportunities to improve business profitability and operational efficiency.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to provide actionable financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support audits and finance governance activities as required.
• Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization within controlling and reporting activities.
• Leverage digital tools and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
• Support the development and maintenance of financial dashboards and performance-tracking tools.
• Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Junior Controlling Analyst (Contractual) at Givaudan – Your future position?

Ready for a new challenge? Join our Finance team as a Junior Controlling Analyst (Contractual), based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will support the finance controlling function by delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights that enable effective decision-making, cost control, and business performance management.

This is an open contract role with us, working 5 days a week. Your monthly payroll will be processed by a third-party partner.

You will be based in our Dubai office and report to the Business Controller for the region.

In This Exciting Role, You Will

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and variance analyses.

You?

Your Professional Profile Includes
