Job summary

STRABAG in Abu Dhabi seeks a Conservation Specialist to carry out the conservation, repair, and restoration of architectural finishes in line with approved methodologies and project requirements. You will assess material conditions and implement appropriate treatments under senior conservators' guidance.

You will prepare treatment records, condition assessments, and conservation reports, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure all interventions meet conservation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Conservation or related discipline is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural conservation or restoration.
• Experience with heritage buildings or specialist conservation projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office.

• Experience conserving and repairing architectural finishes, including timber, glass, ceramics, natural and artificial stone, terrazzo, mosaics, tiles, wallpapers, stucco, and decorative finishes.
• Working knowledge of conservation principles, material deterioration, repair techniques, condition assessments, and conservation documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Attention to detail with a methodical approach to conservation works and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
