AlphaMind Group, featuring Son Of A Fish in Dubai, is seeking a proactive Commis Chef to support daily food preparation and service in a high-standard kitchen. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning under senior chefs and exposure to premium hospitality projects within the region.

Ideal candidates have a culinary diploma or basic kitchen training and a willingness to develop, with basic food safety knowledge and an eagerness to learn in a multicultural team.

Qualifications

Culinary diploma or basic professional kitchen training preferred.
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen trainee is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and standards.
Support the Chef de Partie during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.
Follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Set up and organize workstations before service.
Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of tools, equipment, and ingredients.
Assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, work areas, and equipment at all times.
