Atlantis Resorts in Dubai invites a Commis Chef 2 to join a large luxury kitchen operation. You will support senior chefs, assist with daily food preparation, and help ensure high-quality, consistent menus across multiple concepts.

The role targets developing chefs with 1–2 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow within a prestigious hospitality environment offering structured culinary training and career progression.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Interest in progressing toward a professional chef career.
• Exposure to an international luxury hotel is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and service requirements.
• Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and kitchen instructions.
• Complete mise en place accurately before service periods begin.
• Support cooking and plating activities under the direction of more experienced chefs.
• Maintain consistent food quality across assigned preparation tasks.
• Follow portion sizes, recipes, and presentation standards.
• Keep workstations organized throughout preparation and service.
• Follow food hygiene and safe handling requirements at all times.
• Store ingredients correctly and follow appropriate labeling and rotation procedures.
• Check product freshness before use and report quality concerns promptly.
• Learn new cooking methods and production techniques from senior chefs.
