Job summary

AEJ Consulting Ltd. seeks an Oil Broker in Dubai to join an expanding desk. You will run live markets across oil derivatives, execute trades, and maintain bid/offer stacks while building strong client relationships with trading houses, majors and hedge funds.

You will manage analytics, provide market colour, and identify opportunities to grow the desk's revenue through proactive client development and cross-market collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Run live markets across oil derivatives (fuel oil, gasoil, crude, time spreads, cracks and arbs).
• Execute and match trades between counterparties while maintaining best-price execution.
• Maintain updated bid/offer stacks and manage orders across multiple products and tenors.
• Prepare and distribute daily curve marks, pricing sheets and market commentary.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships across trading houses, majors and hedge funds.
• Provide clients with timely market colour, flow intelligence and liquidity insights.
• Proactively identify new commercial opportunities and expand the desk's client network.
• Maintain accurate trade tickets and coordinate with operations for clearing and settlement.
• Update live trading spreadsheets, market maps and interest logs throughout the day.
• Work closely with senior brokers to support major client accounts and large-volume execution.
• Develop and grow your own client base, contributing to desk revenue.
• Collaborate with other product desks to identify cross-market opportunities.
• Participate in market events, client meetings and networking activities to drive business.

Our client in Dubai is a leading brokerage platform in global oil derivatives, providing liquidity, market colour and order execution to major trading houses, oil majors, refiners and banks. They are looking for a motivated Oil Broker to join an expanding desk.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a high-performing book, manage client relationships and facilitate trades across futures, swaps and spreads.

The Role

• Run live markets across oil derivatives (fuel oil, gasoil, crude, time spreads, cracks and arbs)
