For our new office in Dubai, we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a level of experience that enables them to work effectively within a team of engineers under supervision; possess knowledge of specific software programs for developing engineering designs (FE, CAD drafting, BIM, etc.) as an advantage; demonstrate a high level of understanding of interdisciplinary dependencies and effects; be a team player who promotes a positive working environment; exhibit a can-do attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement; showcase analytical thinking, hard work, responsibility, and flexibility; and have a solid command of professional/technical English.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the development of design deliverables for railway and road infrastructure projects in accordance with international design standards (American, European, British Standards, UIC leaflets, etc.), on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards, as requested;
• Carry out modelling, calculations, drafting of engineering sketches/drawings and design tasks for all stages of the design process, as needed, under supervision;
• Review, mark-up drawings and ensure that Quality Assurance procedures are implemented;
• Possess good communication skills to interface and collaborate with other project team members in a clear and efficient way.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil Engineering;
• Internationally recognised technical qualifications are an advantage.
