Junior Biomedical Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Biomedical Engineer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biomedical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring the safety and functionality of healthcare technologies. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge medical devices in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair medical devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand equipment needs and provide technical support.
• Document maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment inventory.
• Stay updated on advancements in biomedical technology and regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement by evaluating new medical equipment and providing recommendations.
• Assist in training healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for technical support and spare parts procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work in a hospital or clinical environment and adapt to dynamic situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to interact with medical staff and vendors.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with emerging biomedical technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous internship or experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
