AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks a Junior Architect to support design development and technical documentation for diverse projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team, contribute to 3D modelling and visualizations, and assist in coordinating with design and construction stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has 8 years of experience in architecture (UAE/GCC preferred), strong drafting skills in AutoCAD and Revit, and a passion for sustainable, high-quality design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- 8 years of professional experience in architecture, preferably in UAE or GCC region.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and development of architectural designs and concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Prepare drawings, specifications and presentations under the guidance of senior architects; assist in tender documents and design reviews.
- Develop 3D models and visualizations using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and BIM.
- Coordinate between design and construction teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly at the site level.
- Work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to meet requirements, budgets and timelines.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, materials and technologies to contribute innovative ideas.
- Contribute to sustainable design strategies ensuring compliance with environmental standards and local regulations.

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Architect to join our growing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of architectural projects providing technical expertise and creative solutions while working closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist in the preparation and development of architectural designs and concepts for a variety of projects (residential commercial mixed-use etc.)
- Prepare drawings specifications and presentations under the guidance of senior architects. Support the preparation of tender documents and assist in design reviews.
- Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations using software tools such as Revit AutoCAD SketchUp and BIM.
- Assist in coordination between design and construction teams ensuring that designs are correctly implemented at the site level.
- Work closely with clients consultants and contractors ensuring that architectural designs meet their requirements budget and timelines.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends materials and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the design process.
- Contribute to sustainable design strategies ensuring compliance with environmental standards and local regulations.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- 8 years of professional experience in architecture preferably in the UAE or GCC region. Internships or academic projects related to architecture will also be considered.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of BIM tools and processes is a plus.
- Strong conceptual and technical design abilities with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present ideas and designs.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Knowledge of local building codes regulations and construction practices in the UAE.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices (LEED Estidama etc.).
- Creative and innovative thinking with a strong passion for architecture and design.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and learn from senior team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
