Job summary

Al Salam Community School in Dubai is seeking a Junior Accountant – Accounts Receivable to join the finance team. The role will manage the full AR cycle, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and reliable financial reporting while coordinating with internal departments.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in AR or accounting, strong Excel and ERP skills, and excellent communication with parents and stakeholders, while upholding high confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable or accounting.
• UAE education sector experience is an advantage.
• Strong Excel and ERP system knowledge.
• Excellent communication with parents and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage full Accounts Receivable cycle including billing and collections.
• Ensure accurate invoicing for tuition and school fees.
• Follow up on outstanding payments to support cash flow.
• Coordinate with Admissions, IT and Credit Control teams.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and process improvements.
