Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Junior Project Manager to drive a defined work package within a major airport project. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and safety targets in a complex, international environment.

The role requires a technical degree and 2–5 years of project execution experience, with strong English communication and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Industrial Automation).
• 2–5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in logistics, automation, or infrastructure.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work Package Ownership: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of a specific work package within a larger project, under the guidance of the Project Management Team.
• Project Support: Support the Project Management Team in overall project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the liaison between engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Planning & Monitoring: Develop and maintain detailed schedules and resource plans for your work package. Monitor progress and proactively manage risks and issues.
• Commercial Awareness: Support contract management and cost control activities related to your scope. Ensure compliance with commercial and legal obligations.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure that all work is delivered in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.
