Job summary

Discovered MENA is seeking a Junior AI Software Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to join a collaborative team developing AI applications and APIs. You will contribute to backend/frontend components, work with cloud-native services, and help ensure secure, scalable software practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, exposure to AI/ML, and growth with modern frameworks. Collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers is key.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in software development, with exposure to AI products preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack backend and/or frontend development.
• Familiarity with modern technologies such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks.
• Basic understanding of API design and integration patterns, with awareness of RESTful services and authentication concepts.
• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker) and cloud platforms; Kubernetes experience a plus.
• Interest in AI/ML technologies and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, etc.), willingness to grow in GenAI solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
