Job Purpose
Our Emirates Engineering Facilities department is dedicated to creating and maintaining premier environments for all engineering needs. From state-of-the-art hangars and workshops to efficient material stores, offices, and training spaces, we ensure every facility supports and enhances engineering excellence. We manage electrical power, air conditioning, fire safety, cleaning, specialized equipment, landscaping, and compressed air systems, while supporting facility expansion and maintenance.
Junior Admin Assistant is to carry out basic administrative office activities in support of the EK Engineering operations, ensuring all activities are performed to the required standard, effectively and efficiently.
In This Role, You Will
- Assist in processing airport pass requests from various Engineering departments and support contractors through emails in a timely manner, ensuring that all required documentation is accurate and as per the required standards.
- Ensure all airport pass applications are received with the signed and authorised acknowledgement form for Contractors Safety requirements and airports pass guidelines to ensure compliance. Maintain the completed form onto the share point for record and reference.
- Responsible for retrieving used/expired airport passes from Contractors and work parties upon expiry or on completion of the work. Ensure the airport pass cancellation is processed through the airport system to comply with the airport pass departments requirements.
- Make sure the payment of airport pass fees from Contractors and work parties is collected in a timely manner in order to process the passes and arrange to debit the cost from the requesting department cost code. Arrange petty cash reimbursement for cost code debits of pass requests.
- Arrange Vehicle and Equipment passes for all Engineering departments to support continuous uninterrupted operations, expediting urgent cases where required.
- Receive courier/company mails and documentation, keeping records of documentation for future reference.
- Sort documents/mails/courier items in an organised and timely manner and arrange to distribute them to the addressees. Provide deliveries to landside offices twice per day and deliveries to airside areas once per day.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Administration / General administration
- 10 Years schooling or equivalent
- Experience in Administration.
