Job summary

Al Mulla Group in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates is seeking a junior accountant to assist in maintaining accurate financial records and processing invoices, receipts, and vouchers. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and assist with monthly financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Maintain general ledger entries and update accounting records.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support VAT calculations, tax documentation, and compliance with applicable UAE regulations.
• Maintain organized financial files and assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
