Job summary

ROShell in Fujairah UAE is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the Chief Accountant in daily accounting operations. You will help maintain financial records, process transactions, and assist in reporting and UAE VAT compliance.

The role requires accuracy, coordination with departments, and adherence to internal controls. The position offers on-site work in Fujairah Free Zone 2 with opportunities to develop accounting and financial reporting skills within a manufacturing/trading context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates considered with internship experience.
• Basic experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Experience in preparing accounting schedules and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Accountant in daily accounting operations.
• Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
• Process supplier and customer invoices, receipts, and payments; perform reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing bank balances and cash flow reports.
• Identify discrepancies and report to Chief Accountant.
• Support monthly/year-end closing and audit processes.
