Job summary

Woopel in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, reconcile bank statements, and process invoices. This role is ideal for recent graduates eager to start their accounting career.

You will work closely with the finance team, maintain accurate records, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help with tax returns and audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
