Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the United Arab Emirates invites applications for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role suits fresh graduates or early-career professionals with a solid grounding in accounting and strong communication skills in Arabic and English.

You will support day-to-day accounting, assist with reports, invoices, reconciliations, and data entry in our ERP system, while maintaining accurate financial records and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and the verification of financial transactions.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Assist senior accountants and the finance team with routine accounting activities.
• Ensure supporting documents are properly organized and maintained.
• Assist with data entry and updating accounting records in the ERP/accounting system.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing relevant documentation.
• Follow company financial policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform other finance and accounting‑related tasks as assigned by management.
